About
Hello! My name is Madi. I am a designer, photographer, and creator. I am currently working as a UI/UX Designer at Empower. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Creative Technology and Design in the school of engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder. While obtaining my degree, I worked for the Volunteer Resource Center on CU’s campus as the Graphic Design and Website assistant, as well as an intern for PTC as the Onshape Digital UX/Marketing Intern.
I stayed busy outside of work and my hobby of film photography by holding the ‘Zine Coordinator position of Colorado music blog Crave the Sound. I did concert photography and music journalism for this publication, as well as helped run social media and venue coordination. I led the process of ‘zine creation to showcase the publication’s work in a physical format.
In addition to this, I held the position of President of the CU chapter of the national professional co-ed engineering fraternity, Theta Tau. Being in a leadership role has allowed me to gain experience in networking and professional development, and I now help with PR and branding/content creation.
Overall, I love to stay busy. I have a lot of passions and do my best to stay active in it all. My life can be hectic and unexpected, but I’m here for the ride.
